Certified Peanut-Free Birdseed - Something for Everyone (2)
Birdseed that's safe for people with peanut allergies and loved by backyard birds.
Our Something for Everyone (2) is a premium wild, backyard birdseed blend made with black oil sunflower seeds, sunflower chips, and safflower seeds. That's it. No fillers. Ever. And, it's tested and verified peanut-free by a third-party accredited lab. So you can enjoy the birds, worry and peanut free.
This blend is especially loved by cardinals and nuthatches. Because it has a higher fat content, it's also extra appreciated during cooler months and migration, when birds benefit from a few extra calories.

Wonderful product, all the birds like it…we love it!!! This peanut free/processed bird seed it the only one out there! We feel so safe with our allergy kid being able to run through the yard, help fill the feeders without any rashes or irritations. Thank you so, so much for making this product!!!!
As a mom of a child with a severe nut allergy, I am grateful that I can purchase birdseed that is free of nuts.
My birds are happy their favorite brand is back.
We are so grateful for this product! We love birds but have a peanut allergy in our family. All our birds love this seed too- we have regular finches, sparrows, doves, juncos, and sometimes cardinals with this seed.
Love this birdseed since it is safe for my grandson.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Wallis Johns birdseed really peanut free?
Yes. Our birdseed is tested and verified peanut free by a third-party accredited lab, making it a safe option for people with peanut allergies and peanut-free environments like schools and daycares. Learn more about why peanut free matters.
Why peanut-free?
We’re always happy when people ask. It's personal. We created our blends for backyards, schools, daycares, peanut-free environments - for anyone, anywhere that wanted to make feeding the birds safe for people with peanut allergies. But it's not just peanut-free birdseed, it's really, really great birdseed. We always knew it had to be both.
Is Wallis Johns birdseed safe for schools and daycares?
Yes. Our birdseed is tested and verified peanut-free by a third-party accredited lab, making it suitable for peanut-free environments including schools, daycares, and community spaces. We're happy to offer an Educational & Community Program for educational (like schools, daycares and Montessori) and community institutions (like nature parks) that want to enjoy the birds and make sure it's safe and inclusive for all.
Is Wallis Johns birdseed premium? Does premium birdseed really make a difference?
Yes. And also yes. Why premium birdseed matters, matters so much we gave it its own page! We only use premium seeds that backyard birds truly love. We never use (cheap) filler seeds like corn, milo (sorghum), wheat and red millet because the thing about filler seeds like these is that backyard birds aren't that fond of them, so the birds toss them to the ground, which can cause mold (very bad for birds) and also attract rodents (not-so-great for humans). The result? More birds, less waste, and a cleaner yard.
What birds will Wallis Johns certified peanut-free birdseed attract?
A lot! Our blends are loved by and attract a wide variety of seed-eating backyard birds, coast to coast, all year long. The birds you'll see in your yard will depend on where you live (we're really sorry PNW, no cardinals for you), the time of year (like spring and fall migration) and available food in nature (like seeds heads on plants, native ones especially). Learn more about the backyard birds you could see in your yard.
